Responsible To: Artistic Director/CEO
Salary: c. £42,000 FTE (equivalent to £25,200 for a 0.6 contract). Final salary to be discussed based on agreed working pattern. This role can be offered either as PAYE employment or on a freelance day‑rate basis.
Hours: Part time – 2-3 days/ 16-24hrs a week
We support homeworking where appropriate but the role does require some presence on site at Stanley Arts.
The part-time Finance Manager (0.6 FTE) will work with the AD/CEO to oversee the financial management of Stanley Arts, including budgeting, cashflow, financial reporting, and ensuring the integrity of financial records. They will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives through sound financial planning and management.
Working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO and senior leadership team, the Finance Manager will oversee and advise on the end of month/ quarter & year accounting and financial processing as well as producing the quarterly management accounts.
Day-to-day finance (including the payroll and VAT returns) is completed by the experienced General Manager and Finance Administrator but this role will lead on the financial processes for the business, the overall budget and the financial management of Stanley Arts Capital Development Project. They will collaborate with the General Manager, Development Manager, Events & Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, Bars Manager, Learning and Engagement Manager, Finance Administrator & other team members to ensure financial processes are effective and aligned with organisational goals.
