Fund ambitious music programmes. Create lasting impact.
We are looking for an experienced fund-raising professional that can hit the ground running this December and support the ambitious impact programme that B:Music will deliver throughout 2027.
B:Music is the music charity that operates Symphony Hall and Town Hall, Birmingham’s two iconic concert halls, and we deliver over 800 events every year. As a charity, we aim to make lives better through music, and our most impactful work is around talent development and community participation, which require multiple funding streams to thrive.
The Head of Fundraising will be hands-on with bid writing, relationships and reporting while leading on the established strategy. The role engages with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and applicants will need excellent communication skills and the ability to present persuasively in support of B:Music’s mission to inspire a love of live music, through performance, participation and learning.
You will lead an experienced team covering individual giving and trusts & foundations and you will focus on corporate giving as well as large scale bids and major donor cultivation.
Experience from the music or the wider cultural sector is desirable but not essential. However, to effectively advocate for B:Music you will need a passion for music, and its transformative power.
This role will require some evening and weekend working.
If you are interested in applying, please complete the relevant forms and send them to recruitment@bmusic.co.uk by midday on the closing date.
If you have any questions about the role or the process, please use this address to contact us.
