To work as part of an early help Mental Health Hub team delivering confidential and non-judgmental humanistic counselling to young people aged 11 – 25 years. To support the service by working flexibly to meet the needs of service users and contribute to the smooth running of the Mental Health Hub.
• A counselling qualification at Diploma or degree level from a recognised course which would meet the requirements for BACP Accreditation
• Demonstrable post qualification experience of counselling with clients.
• Experience of working with young people.
• Knowledge and experience of applying safeguarding procedures with children and adults at risk
• Experience of managing own case load, maintaining highest standards of record keeping, report writing, and referral procedures.
• Ability to enable young people to access and express emotions and to express, reflect upon and make sense of experiences that are confusing and distressing.

(Upon completing your probationary period, you will be eligible to join the 4 Day Week program, which allows you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary)
