Young Carers Youth Support Worker
Hours – 37.5 hours per week (4days negotiable)
Salary – £26,040 per annum FTE
Are you self-motivated, organised, empathetic, able to work independently and think on your feet, then you might want to consider joining a small team of like-minded people.
Our charity, Carers Support, works across Bristol and S. Glos to support unpaid family carers who are supporting their loved ones at home.
We currently have a vacancy in our Young Carers Service Team who provide a range of support to young carers including undertaking assessments developing support plans, delivering 1:1 support, running regular groups and activities. The successful candidate will improve the health, well-being and safeguard the interests of Young Carers (YCs) adversely affected by their caring roles for family members in the Bristol area by:
· Delivering high-quality, effective and well-managed casework;,
· Providing individual tailored 1:1 support, and advocacy
· Developing and facilitating group work and activities.
