Finance Assistant Four Day Week

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our award-winning team in our Farringdon offices.

You’ll need to be highly organised, pro-active and passionate. This is a varied role working across accounts payable and accounts receivable along with ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, meticulous and willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, as they will be assisting the Finance Manager in the day to day running of the agency’s finances.

The role will be hybrid working (mainly remote) and must be available to work 3 or 4 days a week.

The successful applicant will have:

• Able to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
• Confident demeanour, enthusiastic and friendly
• Excellent time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organised and can work independently
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines, with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel experience as well as working knowledge of MS packages.
• Experience of using a computerised accounting system e.g. Paprika, Netsuite
• The role would be suited to someone who has completed/is studying towards their AAT, who is looking to gain some experience in an exciting creative agency, or someone who is already in a similar finance assistant role

Your duties will be to:

• Processing Purchase and Sales Ledgers
• Manage accounts email inbox and answer AP/AR queries
• Process & maintain petty cash transactions
• Prepare weekly payment runs & maintain planned payments
• General filing/admin duties
• Reconciling company credit cards
• Setting up new clients, suppliers and employees in Paprika
• Processing employees expense claims in line with company expense policy and HMRC guidelines.
• Processing employee timesheets
• Bank Reconciliations
• Credit Control
• Production Accounting support
• General day to day finance support
