This purpose of this role is to lead on the Revitalising Trusts Programme which UKCF runs in partnership with the Charity Commission and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. This is an extremely exciting programme that has revitalised over £30m since its inception and this role will be pivotal in its on-going success. The role will involve working closely with the Charity Commission and our member Community Foundations. There is an element of sales and marketing to the role, in promoting the programme to prospective inactive trusts; and an element of administration, navigating through charity governance to enable trusts to be transferred. The post-holder will be accountable for the whole process of revitalising national-focussed trusts to UKCF and for encouraging member community foundations with local trusts.
