At Sustrans, we are proud to be the leading charity in community-led street design. We now have an exciting opportunity for somebody with a relevant qualification in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or similar design qualification to join our vibrant and motivated team of engineers and urban designers!
In your role as Senior Urban Designer, you will lead and progress community-led street design projects. You will engage schools and neighbourhoods in designing better places for walking and cycling, helping us to achieve our vision of a society where the way we travel creates healthier places, and happier lives, for everyone.
We are looking for a proactive individual with experience of working on design projects with community engagement or involvement. Ideally, you will bring your lived experience of disability or minority background to bear on our ambition for our streets to function for everyone
In return we can offer you genuine flexibility around working patterns. We embrace values-driven and inclusive leadership and we listen and make time for innovation through our people-centered culture.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team where you can make a big impact and where we value the contribution and expertise of everyone.
Interviews will take place via MS Teams during the week commencing Monday 15 February 2021.
We may close the advert early if sufficient applications have been received so please make sure you submit your application as soon as possible.
