The Role

Our Strategic Account Manager (Digital) is pivotal in supporting the growth of the business through the delivery of a robust lead generation programme, driving qualified leads into the sales pipeline, and guiding the sales team through the pitch process.

We are looking for an energetic, curious and resourceful person that can drive new business opportunities and partnerships in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.

They will work closely across all LAB teams to deliver great ideas, develop excellent relationships and acquire exciting projects within the agency’s sweet spot.

• Building a demand generation strategy that leads to new wins aligned with our growth ambitions
• Developing a partnership programme that is mutually beneficial and bringing in new opportunities of the fitting calibre in line with our vision
• Building a solid pipeline for the business to achieve its quarterly new business targets
• Encouraging client growth and exceeding growth targets
• High retention levels across our client portfolio
• Excellent feedback from clients, including ratings, quotes and references, when required
• Understand our services, platforms, and processes to consult with confidence

Key skills & responsibilities of a Strategic Account Manager at Riverr:

• Ensure best practices of sales processes are in place, and high levels of sales activity are the status-quo
• Oversee all demand generation campaign launches
• Proactively seek opportunities within our target customer profile using outbound techniques to build relationships with potential clients
• Work with the team to enable the right level of development in services and technical solutions, supported by a commercial strategy that delivers profitability
• Continually identify commercial opportunities within key technical platforms
• Creating proposals, pitches and statements of work that are brand aware and in line with our brand guidelines
• Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, and commercial accountability
• Work with the Group MD to define the measures of success for the launch of campaigns/lead generation activities
• Work with the LAB Group, existing partners and new partners to build partnerships set for growth
• Growing accounts and drawing on the right subject matter experts to continually sell ideas to clients and drive value for all parties
• Create strong partnerships with strategic technology vendors for joint go to market strategies and lead generation
