Freelance Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser
RefugeeYouth is dedicated to tackling the isolation and challenges experienced by young people who are forced to navigate an increasingly difficult immigration and asylum system, often on their own. We work with over 100 young people each year to increase their wellbeing, build their connection to the community and offer opportunities for the future.
We are looking for a skilled fundraiser with a strong track record of successfully raising funds from Trusts and Foundations. Over the last year, we have been awarded a number of grants to continue our work. We are now looking for an experienced fundraiser to help build on that success, increasing the sustainability of our work so that we can focus on making a difference to the lives of more young people.
This is an exciting role at a time of change and transformation at RefugeeYouth.
This role will focus on soliciting multi-year and annual donations of £20k+ from an existing pipeline of current and potential new supporters. This role will also work closely with colleagues to input and ensure we are meeting grant agreements and providing exceptional stewardship to donors.
The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating large amounts of information in order to develop a clear and powerful case for support. They will be a self-starter, comfortable managing their own time and working to competing deadlines. They will be a natural relationship builder, forging strong and mutually beneficial internal and external relationships to achieve shared goals.
You will be supported in your role by a committed team of staff, volunteers and Board of Trustees. And most importantly, you will be at the heart of an organisation that is a platform for young refugees to flourish in so many aspects of their lives.

We will be interviewing as and when we receive applications from suitable candidates.
