We are looking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to provide operational and strategic leadership for our highly successful charity.  Established over thirty years ago, Quetzal offers specialist counselling and psychotherapy for female survivors of childhood sexual abuse.  These experiences can have a lifelong impact on wellbeing, mental and physical health.  By providing free counselling our committed team help hundreds of women across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, rebuild their lives each year.  Our vision is a world where every woman can live free from the trauma of abuse and exploitation.

Working closely with the Board and staff team our CEO will ensure the effective and proper management of the organisation’s resources and compliance with legal requirements and good practice in all aspects of its work.  They will be a motivating and inspiring leader with drive, integrity, empathy, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for our vision, values, mission and work.  A team player, they will possess the ability to influence, collaborate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

·         Significant experience of working at an appropriate level, capable of leading the organisation working alongside the Board.

·         Proven track record of financial management, control and reporting.

·         Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.

·         Collaborative leadership skills with the ability to bring the best out of a team and meet organisational objectives
