About Pan Intercultural Arts
Pan Intercultural Arts is a leading force in delivering arts for social change through workshop programmes with unaccompanied minor asylum seekers, young refugees, survivors of trafficking and young people at risk of entering crime.
About the Project
Weapon of Choice Theatre Project works with young people in Camden from a mixture of mainstream education and Pupil Referral Units including participants from our schools residency programme who want to continue their arts practice. The group meets weekly which leads to a performance/sharing of their work created throughout the year.
The Weapon of Choice project has a successful residency programme and has worked extensively in schools and PRU’s. It has several strands that are currently in development and this role has the opportunity to grow and develop into a larger role, and to be extended beyond this current contract with increased hours.
We are a close team and are looking for someone who is passionate about increasing access to the arts for young people. We are looking for someone who has arts experience and can coordinate logistics and budgets. If you do not fit all the criteria but do have relevant experience that could make you a great candidate, we would love to hear from you. You do not need to have done this exact role before! We want to hear from people with a range of experiences and skills.
We particularly welcome and encourage applications from Black people, people of colour or people with lived experience of migration, as it is a priority for the organisation to improve the diversity within our leadership team.
Summary of the Role
The Project Manager works with the Weapon of Choice team of artist-facilitators in the planning and delivery of the Weapon of Choice Theatre Project.
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the project by managing the budget, monitoring, reporting and administration related to the theatre group.
