Job Title: Fundraising Manager
Responsible to: Artistic Director and Trustees
Rate of Pay: £31,200.00 FTE (Pro-Rata 4 days per week – £24,960)
Pan Intercultural Arts is a leading force in delivering arts for social change through workshop programmes with unaccompanied minor asylum seekers, young refugees, survivors of trafficking and young people at risk of entering crime. Pan works mainly in London but also seeds projects in other towns and cities through its exPansion programme and has founded several Theatre for Development projects overseas.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Pan. The role would be working closely with Pan’s Artistic Director, Company Manager, Communications and Administration Officer and Pan’s project staff. This is a key role within the organisation, working closely with the Pan team to manage, develop and secure the funds to deliver our projects. The current organisation’s annual turnover is £450,000.
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for the fundraising strategy, securing new sources of funding and leading on funding applications, and managing the relationships with our existing funders including regular communications and grant reporting. In conjunction with the Artistic Director, the Company Manager, and Project Directors/Managers, the Fundraising Manager is responsible for securing funding for all projects and core costs for the organisation.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for the fundraising strategy, securing new sources of funding and leading on funding applications, and managing the relationships with our existing funders including regular communications and grant reporting. In conjunction with the Artistic Director, the Company Manager, Project Directors/Managers, the Development Officer is responsible for securing funding for all projects and core costs for the organisation.
This role will lead on the development of all funding streams, including Trusts and Foundations, institutional funding, corporate fundraising, fundraising events, and individual giving to support our artistic programmes and core costs. It will be responsible for building and overseeing the funding pipeline from identification, cultivation, solicitation, to stewardship stages of funders.
This post will manage the work of Pan’s voluntary Development Committee, which develops and supports fundraising events and networks in aid of Pan. This role will work closely with the Development Committee to oversee their support, maintain their engagement, suggest areas of support, and communicate their ideas to the Pan team and facilitate their initiatives and events.
The Fundraising Manager will ensure good communication across internal and external stakeholders and will help to create an efficient and friendly working atmosphere.
