Project Manager: Community Group Development Project
6 month fixed term contract, 4 days/week
NSUN (the National Survivor User Network) is a UK charity, connecting mental health service users/survivors, people with lived experience, and user-led groups. We influence policy, practice and perceptions by amplifying the experiences and aspirations of our members.
We are looking for someone with relevant skills to deliver a 6 month project funded by the City Bridges Trust via the London Community Response Fund.
The project follows on from the NSUN Covid-19 Fund (https://www.nsun.org.uk/nsun-covid-19-fund) and is looking to build the capacity of London-based user-led and community-led organisations which support people living with mental ill health, distress or trauma.
The user-led and community-led sector is vibrant but precarious. You will be conducting focus groups, surveys and interviews to find out what user-led/community-led groups in London need to thrive, and then putting together and delivering a programme of activities to support them. The project will have a particular focus on groups led by and for people from marginalised and racialised communities.
Taking ownership of the project, listening to and liaising with our membership, and thinking creatively and working proactively will be an essential part of the role. The role is home-based. Specifically we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
To apply, please send a completed Application Form and Equal Opportunities form to email@example.com by 17.00 on Friday 18th September. Interviews will be on the 25th September (online).
