The Finance & Data Assistant is a new post to support the administrative work across the organisation. You will play a key role in the Finance & Operations team and across the organisation, sometimes working independently on tasks set by the team, often working collaboratively to help the team develop ideas and solve problems.
You will support the finance function by recording sales and purchase invoices into the finance system (Xero), posting payments and receipts to the bank, creating draft invoices for sales as per the agreed schedules, posting of expenses and supporting the Head of Finance & Business.
You will co-ordinate the data required for management to analyse our success criteria, this will include monitoring our capacity log, looking at communications data analytics and data from our CRM system. You will have the ability to multi-task, strong organisation skills and be analytical.
You will provide general administrative support across the business including helping maintain any offices, assisting staff with basic IT set up, and working with the Head of Finance & Business to support the business. This might mean arranging meetings, supporting events, sorting data on Excel or other tasks small or large. We are a small team, and everyone needs to be adaptable and have a ‘can-do’ attitude to work and problem solving.
