We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to join our Vendors & Partners team and work with our Hospitality partners – where we partner with premium F&B brands to create new go-to-market channels that engage high-value customers. We are looking for a relentless relationship builder, candidates who understand and enjoy the sales lifecycle (including prospecting, outreach, negotiating, and closing deals), and someone who is equally comfortable selling to premium brands and selling technology. We are a new technology company, led by an experienced team and backed by seasoned investors. You’ll work directly with our Co-CEO.
This role pays a basic annual salary of £35,000 with an uncapped bonus scheme designed to generate average on-target earnings (OTE) of £52,500 per annum. Other standard benefits include five weeks’ annual leave (plus bank holidays), company pension, and a unique four day working week.
This is a target driven commercial role, involving targets and sales development. You must have business development experience and be able to demonstrate results and successes in your previous role(s). You should have a good knowledge of premium brands within the hospitality sector. You don’t need to have come from a technology background but having worked with e-commerce before would certainly be an advantage.
We’re obsessed with work life balance and everyone at Loytech works a four day week. We condense a full 37 hour working week in to four days (0800 to 1800) – which means everyone gets to enjoy a three day weekend every week. We work 75% (three days) remotely and 25% (one day) on-site. All team members need to get to Edinburgh each week (at their own cost and in their own time) for team building, strategy, workshops, and general collaboration so this role likely best suits candidates within easy travel time of Edinburgh.
