ImpactEd is an award-winning social enterprise that exists to help evaluate, understand and improve impact in education. In our education system, we invest huge amounts of time, money and energy in different programmes and interventions to improve outcomes for pupils. Yet far too often, we don’t know what is working – and what isn’t.
We exist to address this evaluation deficit, helping schools and those working with them to better understand what is working to make a difference to the lives of young people. We do this through a combination of hands-on partnership, training and consultancy, and our digital platform which makes monitoring and evaluation quicker, easier and more effective. We work with both schools and other education organisations such as charities, universities and education technology companies.
As School Partnerships Manager, you will work with schools to evaluate impact, contribute to our ongoing national research projects, and contribute across the organisation to deliver our strategic objectives.
Within this role, you will act as the first point of contact for your portfolio of schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, and school groups. You will be responsible for managing our more complex and senior level partnerships and the end-to-end delivery of our partnership cycle.
You will build close working relationships with teachers and school leaders, and ensure that they are able to use our combination of partnership working and digital platform to increase their impact. Day to day, that might mean helping a Multi-Academy Trust understand how they can evaluate the impact of a new curriculum across dozens of schools, or working with a teacher network to train them in effective evaluation practices.
In addition you will manage a small number of School Partnerships Officers and work alongside the Head of School Partnerships and our Managing Director to focus on business development and expanding the work of the team.
We are looking for people with the following experience, though you may be more experienced in some areas than others:
As well as this, you are likely to be most successful in the role if you communicate clearly and persuasively, are detail-oriented and analytical, share our intellectual curiosity and desire to learn rapidly and are entrepreneurial and solution-focused.
You would be joining a dynamic social enterprise with opportunities for significant development and progression in line with organisational growth. We are committed to:
The application deadline is 2nd August at 9am. Please note that we will review applications regularly as they come in, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
