Fundraising and Communications Support

Hours – 22.5 hours (Tues–Thurs)

Salary – £23,809 FTE per annum (£14,285 actual based on hours stated above)

Are you self-motivated, organised, empathetic, able to work independently and think on your feet, then you might want to consider joining a small team of like-minded people.

Our charity, Carers Support, works across Bristol and S. Glos to support unpaid family carers who are supporting their loved ones at home.

We’re looking for a creative, organised person to support our fundraising and communications work at Carers Support Bristol & South Gloucestershire. You’ll help with digital content, graphic design, social media scheduling, e‑bulletins, donor admin and keeping our systems up to date.

You’ll need good IT skills, attention to detail and experience using Canva or similar tools. If you enjoy being part of a friendly team and want your work to make a real difference for carers, we’d love to hear from you.

Main duties would include:

To:

·       Support fundraising systems, grant tracking and donor stewardship.

·       Produce communications content, including design, publications, e‑bulletins and social media.

·       Manage data and admin workflows such as mailing lists, monitoring stats and literature distribution.

·       Provide general organisational and administrative support as needed.

There’s lots more we could tell you, but why not apply and come and see for yourself.  If you’d like any further information, please email adrianr@carers.bsg.org.uk.

Please visit our website at https://www.carersbsg.org.uk/join-our-team (direct link to our vacancies page) for all the information you need and details of how to apply.  All completed applications should be returned to recruitment@carersbsg.org.uk.

Closing date for applications is 31 March 2026 at 12.00pm with interviews at our offices in Fishponds on 15 April 2026.

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer, and our workplace is free of barriers and fully accessible for people with disabilities.  We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults; from recruitment of staff through to supporting our team working with families and carers in crisis.
