Fundraising Manager (Maternity Cover)
21 hours per week
£28,000 – £32,000 FTE (depending on experience)
Working from Head Office in Thornbury, along with home working
Anticipated start date 4th January 2021
As Fundraising Manager (Maternity Cover) you will be responsible for the organisation and management of the Brain Tumour Support Fundraising Team to deliver income targets in line with our fundraising strategy. You will manage activity in all fundraising income streams, and as we approach the end of our emergency appeal in response to Covid-19 you will take a pivotal role in implementing and delivering our fundraising strategy for recovery.
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, passionate and proactive in their work, coming from a charity fundraising background, with the drive to inspire a team, grow income, build relationships and initiate opportunities for development of the fundraising function. This role will suit a dynamic and positive individual, with a proven track record of meeting demanding income targets within multiple income streams. Experience of team management or leadership skills are essential for this maternity cover position to ensure stability in the team.
We have exciting plans for the future of the organisation and for the development of the Fundraising Team, so you will be joining a passionate team at a pivotal time for the charity. Having faced the adversity and impact of Covid-19, we are keen to get back on track with our strategy and you will play an integral part in these plans. Currently the team are working remotely with some office time depending on business needs, at our Thornbury Office, adhering to Covid secure guidelines. (This will remain under review and candidates should be prepared to be flexible with their work base for this role).
Brain Tumour Support was founded in South Gloucestershire in 2003. The charity’s vision is to ensure that no one is alone when facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. Our Support Team provide tailored support to anyone affected by a brain tumour, and we are passionate about making a difference in their lives.
