Bishopsgate Institute is seeking a Fundraising Manager to join our welcoming team, implementing a new fundraising strategy to support all aspects of our work. You’ll be working across trusts and foundations and individual giving, developing funding bids and cultivating relationships with donors and funders. As this is a new role, it’s an exciting opportunity to shape new ways of working and helping us to embed fundraising across the organisation.
We’re looking for a proactive, confident fundraiser with a proven track record in achieving fundraising targets. You’ll be collaborating with teams across the organisation so will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to translate their work into compelling funding applications.
You’ll be passionate about working with our fascinating archives and bold events programme. From the history of protest to the history of drag, via swing dances and podcasting courses, the topics we explore are varied and sometimes challenging. You’ll relish that challenge and diversity.
This role is initially a 1 year fixed term position, either working full time or we will consider this role on a part-time basis of 0.8 FTE.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a keen understanding of Bishopsgate Institute’s unique offer, and a passion for the work we do here. Please note we only accept application forms, CV’s will not be accepted.
We only accept direct applications, and we do not accept CVs. Please no agencies.
