We are looking for a Head of People, to lead the creation of an inclusive, collaborative and productive working culture.
Heading up the People team, you will lead strategic culture-change projects in a values-led organisation, striving to be a fantastic employer to valued staff. You will oversee HR and its development at BAC and ensures that staff policies and procedures are fit for purpose. And working closely with Heads of teams, you will ensure each staff member is supported to thrive and develop in their role.
People care sits at the heart of this role. You will ensure staff members and managers have the right tools to deliver their roles effectively, through devising organisation-wide training plans, overseeing effective appraisal processes, supporting and advising managers and mediating/leading on performance or interpersonal issues as they arise.
The Head of People has a significant role in setting BAC’s working culture – this includes playing a key leadership role in relation to BAC’s commitment to disabled access as the world’s first Relaxed Venue, through your work with BAC’s Inclusive Practice Manager; devising and implementing the organisation’s Equality Action Plan; continuing to deliver on our commitments and progressing our approaches to representation, inclusion and diversity; and working closely with the Directors, Inclusive Practice Manager and wider team to develop new initiatives.
We are able to offer a flexible range of hours for this role – it could work as either a part time or full time role – and we will explore this with candidates at interview.
