Amari Floating Support Worker
Location: Lambeth/Newham/Greenwich
Salary: £11,093.33-£12,800 FTE
Unqualified applicants, £26,000 – £27,500 per annum pro rata Qualified applicants (with an accredited VAWG /domestic abuse qualification): £27,000 – £30,000 per annum pro rata. Please note, successful candidates are usually appointed at the bottom of the relevant salary banding.
Hours: 16 hours per week -Hybrid Working model
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until March 2023

About the Service
The Amari Project provides 2nd stage Supported Accommodation to women who have been sexually exploited, trafficked or who have exited Prostitution.
About the Role
The Part- Time floating Support Case Worker will provide casework to support to residents in Lambeth, Newham, or Greenwich. You will provide case work to residents to a minimum of one session on a fortnightly basis.
You will ensure that the properties are maintained to a good standard and regularly coordinate health and safety checks, reporting issues to the Landlord. You will be responsible for providing data for supporting the Full -time worker in collating monitoring data and facilitating training internally and externally.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience of supporting women who have experienced trafficking and sexual exploitation. You will be required to have an awareness of the impacts of trauma on survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing training.
Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.
